check with your local Michael's crafts store. Some carry thebulk can of beads and some just the strips, but they will order it for you if they do not carry it. The stripps will work but it is expensive to use the strips. |

I've never heard of Michael's Craft stores but I'll check at the Craft stores in the city and see if anyone has it. I need some ASAP which is why I don't want to order from the states. Sometimes things get held up in customs for weeks. |

Well checked around and the craft stores all say they haven't carried it for 15 years, one lady though has some pieces of it left over from years ago. Quite cheap, only45 cents a piece. Would you use the strips the same way as beads? I am planning to use it to make a template of my logo for use in an inlay carver. |

yep drop it in hot water till clear then form it. How many or how long of strip did you get. if it is twice as long and as thich as your inlay you should be able to cover your logo enough. |

I haven't got it yet as I won't be in the city till latter this week (it's a two hour drive there and back) but she said she has a bunch of small pieces about 2cm as well as a couple of larger strips. It's just left overs from years ago so she has a number of different colours. I am assuming that sitting around won't have had a negative effect on the stuff. Price sour sounds right but these are her prices from 10 years ago... ![]() |

I don't think color will be an issue. get more than you think you will need, is always a good idea. |
